Legacy

This legacy –

Suffering.

Yes, anguish.

A yoke of despair.

Is it of any consequence

As some proclaim?

As some insist?

Or is the despair truly despair –

Hopelessly

Deep,

Hopelessly

Dark,

Ravenous in its appetite for light?

There is some indication –

    Could it be true?

From the saints

The prophets

The holy ones

The Anointed One –

That the deepest dark,

The hopeless, blinding dark

The gloom of the abyss

Yes, that is where

The Holy One abides.

Yes.

That is where the Sacred penetrates the

Heart

Soul

Mind

Body.

So they say.
